Dear Diary,

Last night I saw the Principal's reply. I will go in the 5th period to see if she is there. This morning on Lockhart Street, the driver was “Hassan”, it was so nice to see him again. I got a sign-in and then went to the staff room. Mr. Harry and Miss Harris had to borrow the pen before I left for the staff room. I realized that it had been a long while since I got here with fewer people.

Miss Mustafa was happy to get a copy of the song that I left for her in the staffroom. Miss Sookhan joined us and she shared a joke. It took me a while to settle in. Miss Gittens had asked me to check the exam envelopes and then verify if the members of the candidates were right down in the exam room. I left the yellow envelope on the wall on the desk so she could check it and find it easily.

The class with 1F was in the music room. “Mr. Hosein” was mopping up the room and he told me what had happened. They were reviewing the Mango song and then each group was separated in different areas of the room to plan out their performance. I liked the dance that Miss Brown's group was choreographing.

I helped “Mr Hunt” notate the Mango song while “Miss Williams-George” practised it with him. “Pablo” tried a double tenor pan. He was doing well and I was very proud of him. He just had to work on the timing of the song. The difference between rolling and hitting seemed to be an issue that he didn't quite understand as yet. I had to use the washroom and then went to see if the principal was there.

Entering the office, I asked Miss Mohamed if she could see if the principal was available. It seemed as if “Miss Gloria” was in there and they were talking about something serious. I had to wait until Miss Gloria left and then the principal came out.

She took me into the room and I greeted her. The conversation went through and many stuff that could have been discussed were left out. I did not want an argument. It was just very hurting to see that things would have turned to this. I'm not sure how long the discussion went on but at some point, it had to be cut off because she had to see two boys that were in a situation. I hope that one day she will see what she is doing and fix it.

Lunchtime came by quickly. I was not sure what would be happening with 2F today. I felt like going somewhere but nowhere to go on the compound. Miss Jessop had gone gotten the topics for the four months for her quiz. The rest of the evening went with 2F playing the college song on the steel pans. Jesse tried to get the double ten apart. It was good to see him, Ari, try and get the first two lines on ten apart.

In Curepe, I went to see Iza to get copies of the memory card and the donation card. They looked really beautiful when I held them in my hands but there will be some excess changes to do. There will also be excess cutouts to do with using the guillotine. I did not get to do much in the evening except for some typing for 2F. I hope that Jess will have enough time to prepare for the quiz that she said she would have to do.
