Dear Diary,
This morning was
a quick one to school. The ride and walk down Sixth Avenue was also swift. I
got to school, and as soon as I set down my stuff I went to the cafe.
"Salisha" served me today. She said that they didn't make any aloo
pies today. I sat down outside near the MTS area, and from there, Miss Mary spoke
with me until minutes after 10.
I went to do the
transfer from my file to the Ministry file. Firstly I had it emailed to the
school's Gmail from Miss Chote, and then it was printed in the office. I took
the prints to Indera and offered to carry it over to the teachers. They saw the
form in my hand, and then I went back to the office. When I asked, Indera told
me that she had a lot of outstanding leave forms that teachers did not applied for to do work on March. She said that she does not see March 2025 being
completed before the term is over. She had a laugh over how many people there
were to get their forms in, too. I decided to go and work on the February since
it was taken care of.
While working on
the forms, two men were working on the air conditioning wires up in the ceiling.
It had a short stall until they left. Miss Ali was with them out in the
quadrangle earlier. I spent the rest of the afternoon in the staffroom working
again. I went back to the office to update the OJT logbook. I was telling
Candice sitting by the new desk they put in the office, that I should be able to
keep the book when I'm done with signing it. It was only my name signing the
book afterwards. That evening, I got back the money from patty for the contact
paper and the Annual Teachers' leave forms.
I went up to Isa
to get some more copies of those leave forms folders with the same payment amount.
Two sets of the fifty-piece quote was printed. I had asked for one set in green
and the other in pink. I feel like the 2022 forms were calling for the green.
When I told Isa, "See yah tomorrow," he watched me very surprised. I
reminded him about the next set of work that I would like him to do for me.
This would be the Borrowing Card's Pocket Label. He said that he might not get
time, so it looked like I would have to wait until Friday evening when he came
back from the Mosque.
All of today felt
like a Thursday. I was telling daddy this when I was in the car going up the
road. I got up the road and was then working on something. Didn't bother to
watch any television. Instead, I went to shower and get some more work
done before the night was over.
Tonight, I
decided to work on the Oral Marksheet for Spanish and French again. This time, it would be transformed into a digital sheet via Excel. It took me the full
working time of the night, as suspected. By 10:16 PM, I had sent it off to Miss
Dayna via WhatsApp. I left a note to apologise for sending it so late.
Hopefully, there will be a time to make queries about the subtotals section that
is just before the grand totals column. I did not know where the division of
the 20 and 60 points came from.
That was all for
the rest of the night. I look forward to working on the leave forms tomorrow.
Indera said that she wouldnt be there tomorrow. Only when I was by Isa did I completely forget to lock up the office when she asked. She just darted out of the office and left. I will have to see how much I can do tomorrow.
