Dear Diary,

This morning was a bank holiday. Thankfully, the bank did not have a long wait, as it always did. Maybe because it was that early in the morning? Daddy went on to trip, and the barber tried to get a tenor pan up for us. I hope Shaun will be able to agree with the costing for it. The ride to school was in a maxi. It was waiting for me as soon as I crossed the road. I ended up being the door person sitting by it. The walk too was empty. I went to pay for the pies, hoping that they were not sold out, but I was able to get them on time. They were good.

I went to the library at some time after giving Mel the cups that she needed to paint the bandanas. I was able to complete lesson 19. A test was the next session, and the first question was completed. There was a class going on for 2M there. "Riba" and his friends around the table were giving a lot of trouble. Miss Solomon had given me money and asked me to buy her lunches, but they were all done. Mr Richard and I didn't know if she ate meat. When I went back, she wanted the burger instead. The lunchtime ended very soon and "Mr Penny" came by the dismiss the children from the room.

Not long after roll call, "Patty" came and told us the judges for the panorama were here and to send the students down to the basketball court. The students were lined up along the classroom building, and the judges were already seated. Jess came out and did some kind of announcement for the people to be credited. It could have been worked on. The band played the fast tempo first and then the slow tempo. I find the slow one was nicer.

Some of the jerseys were different. I had my Mitchelle House T-shirt on to be true to the House. A lot of the children noticed and commented on the blue bandana hooked up to the left side of my pants. "Kirish" didn't know that I was in Mitchelle House, coming back from the cafe with Miss Solomon's lunch.

After the performance, there was a teacher's picture. Donna again was ordering how the people would stand. It was only 1:50 when I got back to the staffroom. Mr Pierre was joking about the green and that he saw as "the best colour". He was joking about whether there would be a class going on after, and "GG" was adding to it. She joked about "going to check on her students. Look, I'm going to class with no books in my hand."

I had to leave as soon as school was over to go meet the Principal of Tunapuna Presbyterian Primary again. I was so tired and wet by the time I got into the car with Daddy. We sat there in the car for a while before I got out at 3:15. As soon as I walked into the compound, the guard came walking up to me as I waited. When I told her about my meeting with the principal, she said that he didn't come to school today. I was a bit shocked again, but went back to the car. I gave John a call to let him know what had happened. He said to call him when I got home.

I had to take a shower right after I got in. Only when Daddy was leaving, I called back John. He mentioned that some changes need to be made in the school song. I spent a very long time to do the fixes. The lead sheet had a lot of changes, so the tenor pan scores had to change to be consistent, too. That means every sheet had to be changed and pitches relabelled. I set the changes to John three times. The rest of the night was taken off. I got packed for Logos tomorrow, and then will try to finish the journal entry got all of yesterday. It took me forever to do that. No paintings were done, and midnight came up too fast. That was the end of the day for me.
