Dear Diary,

This morning, I knew waking up would not be easy. I was right. I got ready as quickly as I could and got to school. The road was empty just like yesterday, and I got into the second maxi alone on the road. I sat by the door, and as soon as the two people came out, I got out and went to the back. The school was calling for assembly by the time I got in. I saw "Smurf" coming in late, too.

As I entered the Kitchen, I greeted Mrs Ramsingh and another teacher before making my way into the staffroom. Lots of teachers were in the classrooms already. I went to pay for the Channa Pies and got a brown wooden chair from the hall for my bags. Miss Dana accidentally took my chair yesterday morning to put it in her class. I hope that it does not crowd up the small walkway for Donna.

Jess and I had class. She went ahead of me. The students were lined up in the corridor and waited to get into the classroom. That looked very weird. She called them in one at a time to hand the paper back and asked me to get two blank copies for the students. She then gave me the first three questions of the paper to go through. The students were sadly very dead and zombified. I felt so sorry for them, and then the heat would probably make it worse for them.

Anyway, the questions were reviewed well. I also shared with them the "EXAMPLE" method with the staff. The entire board was filled with writing. Only getting back into the staffroom, I felt bad about not remembering to take a picture of what I did. It was about 9:40 when I got to my desk. I thought that the pies were ready. The nice aunt served me today. The pies were nice. Jess left for the office with plenty of papers and folders. I sat down for a while, and recess came. I thought that we had class 3rd and 4th instead of after recess.

We had 1l after recess. They were given a welcome back from Jess, and she went through exercises in the red book. I sat on the bench outside, working on the crossword questions for exercise one in the workbook, and moved on to lesson two. The practical parts in that section were copied from my manuscript to the legal document.

During lunchtime, the staffroom was emptied for the TUTTA meeting down in the Maths room at 12:20 PM. I wish I could have gone, but I was not a member, so they might not have let me in. Instead, I sat by my desk and continued working on the worksheet. Roberts sat by her desk opposite and mentioned how nice it is with the room empty. She mentioned to Mr Ramdath how nice it would be to have a do not disturb sign on the door.

Class time came very quickly. Jess and I had the Form 4s down in the music room. They were given a welcome back and then allowed to do some practical work for the time to make up. They were not in a good position concerning any progress with their pieces. No work was done during the vacation time. After school was the evening rehearsal for the Panorama students. We stayed until 4 PM. The walk-up was slow as I decided to take my time this year.

I met a group of players and joked about whether they were behaving. Kalid said that they were waiting for an empty bus, which did not seem to be possible at this time of the day. The maxi had a four-seat back, which was not nice. Had a long wait for Daddy to come down again. We had a Rustic barbecue that evening. It took me a while listening to Senator Nakhid and Senator Goopee-Scoon on television before I could get up to go do some work.

The manuscript was left in school, and I did not realise how much it was needed. That evening, no arranging could have been done. I was still on number 13 in the Book of Praise. The chords had to go in, and they were not so easy to find chords to work. It began looking as if it was impossible to get something for this song. I also experience difficulty trying to determine the meter. Had to message Mr Sharma to see if he might be able to say what it could be. Two paintings were done for the night, and two chapters. I could not make it to the third chapter after reading those two. It was a big struggle to walk it to bed.
