Date for Entry: (Wednesday 05 February 2025)

Actual Date of Online Entry: (Wednesday 25 June 2025)

[T2, W:05 – WD:23, (Td:5)*].

Dear Diary,

Today was tough to wake up. Daddy, let me cross the road to get to the bus route. He decided he would come back later to Curepe. There was a bus further up waiting for me. I got on, and the trip was good. He had pretty lights on the sides above the windows. Mr Charles was right in front of me on Sixth Avenue. It looked like Jess had just come to school. I placed my bag in the staffroom and then took my stuff in my tray over to the office. I had gone to pay for the pies after putting my stuff down in there. Mr Richard said to "come back in the next half an hour."

There was a letter that Miss Patel told me earlier that she needed help with creating. It was a letter just to say that the Form 1 student was attending St George's. There was a format used, but Patty told me that there was a separate one from the transcript that they would recycle. I got the letter fixed up, and there was a while to wait until Patty came back to sign it. Then the stamp was set on it. I got the filing room opened up to get a copy of the student's registration form to work on the remainder that I needed to complete.

There was a short disturbance where Ameera needed to check something with Candice and Celia. There was a while for them to find what they were looking for. She asked me to check through the school email for correspondence, but there was nothing in her name. I went back to finish the rest of the form, and it took a lot of time with that official use area. The table was very difficult to manipulate. As soon as it was completed, I saved it and set aside the prints in my folder. Patty again reminded me that we had to have a meeting with Indera about the Forms before the MMT meeting tomorrow.

The rest of the day was spent helping teachers with prints from the email. After the form making, I had a nice time helping out Anisa Mohammed. She had a few things to print. Early, when I was returning to the office from the staffroom a second time, I had given her the copies that were done yesterday. It was kept with me since Monday because I had messed up which of the two Mohammeds they belonged to.

Then Anesha had plenty of things to do. She was surprised how quickly it was for me to do everything. Her only comment was how efficiently and quickly everything was being done by me. Choo Choo came, and Rhea was there at the same time. When she said that she left copies, I told her that it could be sent sometime. It made her happy.

Somehow, the printer wasn't making any sounds when I sent the request. When I went to check the screen on the machine, it was saying that the paper was done. I was shocked because I knew that I had put in a full ream earlier that morning. I had to get more, and Candice was opening the room. Choo Choo ended up climbing up on the ladder and handing us the paper.

We got some extra paper for another time on my request. It was needed as the day went along. As soon as the paper went in, I went to check, and I told Choo Choo that it looked like the machine decided to do Rhea's work first. She said that she would pass back.

Miss Ali was putting in legal. I reminded her that there was some legal paperwork I was able to save from sorting the boxes yesterday. She used the first brown envelope of paper. Jeanice finally showed herself in the compound sometime near lunchtime. She went out on the road and then ended up leaving early. At some point, she spoke about the Carnival display and asked if I was still doing the piece on Pat Bishop. I told her that I might not have the time to do it again. She said that there was enough time from now until carnival.

There was another Tug ah War game at lunchtime in Savammah across the road. Choos and Althea were play-fighting in the office when Althea took the pencil out from behind her hair. I had to type up a list of names for the girls' Cricket Team to add to their file for her. The rest of the evening was quiet, thankfully. I went through some things on the computer and then ended up typing up some questions for Miss Carthy when she had to run to her class in the hall. Miss Ali came off her call and was confused as to how many copies Carthy wanted, and the same for me with the questions.

Miss Solomon came to join me after school. She sat by the slow computer for me to get her copies done. Carthy came back, and then she told us how many copies she wanted. Miss Ali did the copies for her. I wasn't sure when Miss Ali or Candice left that evening. Carthy then asked for a diagram for the Form 4s to label. We could not find any, so I had to change what I had and ask for a worksheet. Then an empty image came up. I made a copy for her, and then she came back about half an hour later. She said that her test needed more points. I was able to assist her with the distribution of the points and then made a copy of the document.

Luckily, Patty was still there to make the copies for her. Patty also had a copy to make and said, "Nice. Yuh take a day off." Although I mentioned that I was going to go and get another big one from inside to clear out. She gave a gentle giggle and went back to Miss Chote inside. When I was making the single copy, she said that the copies had to be made for 8:40 tomorrow for the first period. I told her that it would be better to do the copies now.

I remembered that before Carthy came for the last time, Indera came out and told me that she was not finding a soft copy of the Ministry file to insert the numbers. I began to laugh hard, and she was telling me, "What are you laughing at like that? I didn't say anything." She then went back to her office. When she came out, she asked if I was busy. The answer was no. When we went to her office, it was just to call over everything and make sure that she had all the information correct and written in her Punctuality and Regularity Form that I made and gave to her.

We went through all of January 2025. Some information was missing from her form, so she inserted it as soon as something was missing. I am glad in the end that she called me for this. There was the trash box that Afisha didn't put out to throw out, so I sorted it in the office with a new garbage bag. The boxes from yesterday were broken and placed into a bigger box. All of the garbage to throw out was labelled and placed in the garbage corner on request by "Radica" when she came to visit earlier. She mentioned that she used to see different things and didn't know if it was good things or things to throw out.

I took a ride with Patty and Nic today to get home. Vade was there with us today. He was still feeling and sounding ill. I heard that Vara, too, was still ill. As I got out of the car, my phone was ringing. Didn't answer because I had to get the big box I brought from the shop out and close the door quickly before a speeding car came. Daddy was home. He said that he was calling, and just like that, I came walking into the compound. He was about to leave. It took forever trying to type up this entry. By 10:15, I had done a shower and was outside trying to get some of the lesson in the workbook completed.
