Dear Diary,
On this day the Steel Ensemble was called to the
auditorium to play for their faith and Confidence Service. Two pieces were supposed to play was with Stefan Wilson and the other was to
conclude the service with the college song. I cannot recall the name of the
first piece done.

Dear Diary,
This morning, Daddy drove me from Tunapuna all the
way down to St. George’s High School in Barataria. I was going to write my
Grade 4 Music Theory Examination for (ABRSM) and Mr. Lewis was not coming down as I thought. Even though the school was sooooo far away from home, I loved the atmosphere. It was almost like church or the beautiful DCFA I've been to. It was very cool and good for an exam.
While walking up the corridors to the classrooms, I
instantly spotted out Dr. Brunner who tutored me for Piano lessons in
Form 1. He said that he was going to "try a Grade 5 exam" that day. I enjoyed going to lessons by him a bit but I had to eventually stop and focus on the hard studies. I even saw three
persons from Hillview going to write the exam too. I only knew them by face.
I made sure to stay the full hour and a half of the exam's duration. It was alright. I knew that I was not going to get the distinction that I wanted. But it was obvious to me that I didn’t fail. Leaving the school and knowing that I would not be getting that distinction, was so hurting again.
